Celebrating Our 5 Year Anniversary
On December 8, 2008, the vision the Lord had laid on the hearts of our 3 Co-founders became a reality as our very first well was completed in Witto, South Sudan. It was in Witto they first realized the magnitude of the water crisis, and prayerfully decided that our mission was going to be providing clean and Living water to the poor through the local church.
We are so grateful for each of you who have joined us on this mission over the past 5 years. Because of your generous stewardship, we have been able to complete over 1400 water projects and serve over 200,000 people with the gift of clean water.
But more importantly, we have shared numerous stories over the years with you of how the Gospel is advancing through the provision of clean water. Stories like Pastor Thomas in India becoming a more respected member in his village partly because he had brought his people clean water opening the doors for him to share the Gospel with the locals; Jennifer in Tedo, South Sudan who told us in 2010 there was no God, yet became a believer in 2011 after the crew came to drill the well brought Bibles, and the pastor was able to share Christ with her; and Pastor Narith's small church in Cambodia growing from 5 members to 17 members because they saw that something was different about his care and concern for his people. These are just a few of the many examples that highlight why Neverthirst exists.
We want you to know our heart's desire is for God's glory to be known among all nations as local pastors use clean water as a resource to meet a physical need so that ultimately the message of Living water can be proclaimed. At Neverthirst, we believe where there is clean and Living water.....
So on behalf of those who have been affected by your generosity and on behalf of Neverthirst, THANK YOU for your faithful and continued partnership over the past 5 years. Our hope is you will continue to partner with us in 2014 as we labor together to bring glory to His name throughout India, Cambodia, and South Sudan.
